Can I go to court or the cops about this obsession?

Okay... This is very long. Please read the whole thing. so there's this boy that has been obsessed with me for, I'm not exactly sure, it may have been all school year but I've been aware of it since some time in march. When I mean obsessed, it's scary. I sat next to him in my bio class for a week when he started writing poems and drawings. I found out that he drew a picture of me from memory that looked just like me. He asked me out, and I kindly turned him down, just saying I wasn't interested in him that way. He then wrote me a song through facebook saying things like "wo is me, without her breathing becomes oh so hard" & stuff. That already weirded me out, since we had never even been friends and talked that much. I think he also have some psycological problems, but he's in "normal" classes/honers classes. He is constantly looking at me in class to and it's very distracting. Then we swtiched seats and one friday he gave me a letter, saying how he was in love with me, I'm his forever, he will miss me because he's moving. I was starting to get scared, after him saying he was in love with me. There was a usb attatched to the letter with a bunch of songs he wrote/played. I thought it was over, since he was moving, but nope he lied about moving and was there the following monday. He apparently thought that letter would make me change my mind. I find out that his facebook is full of posts/statuses/songs/etc about me, in some postings he used my name. He then got his friends to talk to me, his friends telling me that if I didn't at least "stay friends" (we never were friends) with him then he would "stalk me" even more. So my brother had a talk with him, scared him crapless, and i thought it was over. It wasn't, the staring and posts continued. Now he still posts about me, says he's in love with me, and won't stop. He said that hes written over 2,000 songs about me, hundreds of paintings, poems, drawings, and then random stuff he said that he's bought for me because he's really rich. I'm scared that one day he'll find out where i live, or that he'll always be obsessed and if I'm married he'll go crazy... idk but can we press charges for stuff like this? There's of course more bits and pieces to this story but it would take forever for everything. So please help, am I just making a big deal out of nothing?
