How do I make my room more impressive to females?

Tell me...what does the female species consider tasteful in a guys' room? For example Lava Lamps...corny in my opinion but what about yours? LCD HD t'vs on every wall? High tech surround sound all about the bed? Paintings? A lot/little? How important is a bed that isnt just a box matress right on the floor? You know, stuff like that. Thank you ladies :)
