Well before you throw yourself at her you should at least start dating and see how both your cultures can get along. Drinking might be problem if you start restricting her from doing things she likes to do. The best thing to do is date first and see how that goes, from there you can assure yourself if love is something you truly have for her. The last thing you want to do is tell her you love her and she backs away because its too soon for that
